- Step 1: Move THE BOX from the washroom to the office.
- Step 2: Take out anything from THE BOX that is not a photo.
- Step 3: Make sure each photo envelope has at least a generic label.
- Step 4: Sort any loose photos into envelopes by year.
- Step 4: Create a customized 12x12 photo album for each year.
- Step 5: Purchase photo album pages for each album.
- Step 6: Fill the photo album pages.
- Step 7: Organize the photo album pages chronologically in the album.
- Step 8: Make notes in each album of favorite photos to use in Heritage Maker projects.
- Step 9: Create Heritage Maker projects
- Step 10: Be at peace, knowing THE BOX is unboxed and is now just a box.
I am a Heritage Makers Personal Publishing Consultant. My job is to help you make a change in your life by helping you unbox your photos and DO something with them.
But, to be effective, I must must also make a change within. I need to unbox MY photos, organize them and give them purpose.
And I have a theory. The lessons I learn and skills I gain while unboxing my photos can be applied to my life. I can unbox my life, organize it and live its purpose.
Let's unbox!

Thanks for the "step by step". How do I get to step 1?
ReplyDeleteGuess you can tell I haven't gotten very far with my Step 1! Mostly because it involved DH moving the box for me.
ReplyDeleteOf course everyone's Step 1 will be different (as one of my first posts, I didn't even think anyone would ever read this!). Where is YOUR box?
BTW, if you want to do MY Step 1, first you'll need a plane ticket...
